Demand planning
Based on your sales and existing supplier orders, demand planning helps you to recognise in time which products should be reordered in which quantity. You can find it under Purchasing → Demand Planning. Use the cogwheel symbol on the right to open the filter menu. There you can set the planning period and define further settings on the basis of which the demand is calculated. Using the blue button at the top, you can then transfer all listed products or only the marked products to your shopping list.
Purchase list
From the demand planning you can access the purchase list directly by clicking on Go to purchase list above the table. Otherwise, you can also find it under Purchasing → Purchase list.
The shopping list contains all the products that you have previously added via demand planning. The displayed order proposal is based on the settings that were previously made in demand planning. The order quantity is calculated from the Purchase suggestion, Minimum purchase, Purchase steps and Stock (taking into account supplier orders that have already been created). However, you can also adjust this by double-clicking in the column.
If the adjusted order quantity does not match the defined minimum purchase quantity or the purchase step, a corresponding warning message appears.
See this article to find out how you can convert your purchase lists into supplier orders.
